Bridget Kelly is an American singer/songwriter from New York City, New York. In 2008, Kelly signed with rapper Jay Z’s label Roc Nation. She filled for Alicia Keys when performing the single “Empire State Of Mind” with Jay Z on such shows as “Friday Night With Jonathan Ross” and “Later… With Jools Holland.” She also performed with Jay Z during the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards. In 2011, Kelly and her production team approached Frank Ocean regarding writing a song for her debut album. The result was the single “Thinking Bout Forever.” Kelly worked with producers The Dream, Ne-Yo, Jerry Wonda, James Fauntleroy, Ryan Leslie and Shea Taylor on her debut album. Prior to the album’s release, she released the EP “Every Girl.” In June 2014, Kelly announced her split from Roc Nation. Following the split, she released the singles “I Won’t Cry” and “Almost More.” In 2017, Kelly released her debut album “All Or Nothing.” She released her sophomore effort “Reality Bites” in 2018.
