Jacques Berman Webster, known professionally as Travis Scott, is an American rapper/singer/songwriter/producer. He began his career as a member of the hip hop duo The Graduates, which included longtime friend Chris Holloway. In 2008, the group released its untitled debut EP via the social networking website MySpace. The following year, Scott and schoolmate OG Chess formed the duo The Classmates. The Classmates released the albums “Buddy Rich” and “Cruis’n USA”. Scott handled the production on both projects. Scott’s first full length solo project was “Owl Pharaoh”, which was set for release as a free digital download in 2012. However, the project was delayed, and announced for a later release. The project was later re-created by Kanye West and Mike Dean, and delayed again for sample clearance issues. In the meantime, Scott released the promotional track, “Blocka La Flame.” On September 4, 2015, Scott released his debut album, “Days Before Rodeo.” He has also released the albums “Birds In The Trap Sing Midnight” (2016) and “Astroworld” (2018).
