R&B duo VanJess follow-up their retro-soul single, “Cool Off The Rain”, a collaboration with Dreamville signee Ari Lennox, with the remix project, “Silk Canvas.” The opus features nine remixes of tracks from their 2018 debut album, “Silk Canvas”, which includes special guest appearances by Saba, Xavier Omar, Bas, MNEK, and more. On “Silk Canvas Remixes”, the Nigerian sister duo created a soundscape filled with slick beats, smooth production, and 90s-inspired neo-soul vocals blending effortlessly with each new feature. The project is without question a showcase for their undeniable talent. Signed to Keep Cool, VanJess received praise for their debut album, “Silk Canvas”, which featured special guest appearances  by Masego, GoldLink, LEIKELI47 and Berhana & Little Simz. Growing up between Lagos, Nigeria and California, VanJess brought a new take on R&B, one which pays tribute to such 90s artists as TLC, SWV, and Aaliyah, while instinctually inciting an inimitable style.
