Kimberly Michelle Pate, known professionally as K. Michelle, is an American singer/songwriter/television personality. She rose to prominence as a cast member of the VH1 reality series “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” In 2009, Pate signed a recording contract with Jive Records where she released her first charting single “Faking It”, featuring Missy Elliott. The song peaked at No. 100 on the U.S Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. During 2010, Pate released the follow-up singles “Falling”, “I Just Can’t Do This” and “How Many Times.” At the time, Pate was in the midst of recording her debut album, but the album was scrapped when Jive Records folded in 2011.  In 2012, Pate signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records. Her debut album for the label, “Rebellious Soul”, featured the single “V.S.O.P.” Her sophomore effort, “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?”, was released on December 9, 2014. Pate has also released the albums “More Issues Than Vogue” (2016), “Kimberly: The People I Used To Know” (2017) and “All Monsters Are Human” (2020).
