Chicago-bred singer/musician Randy Hall rose to prominence in the 1980s with a pair of albums and the hits “I’ve Been Watching You (Jamie’s Girl)” and “Slow Starter.” He began his music career as lead singer of the band Pleasure and also contributed vocals to Miles Davis’ 1981 album “The Man With The Horn.” His latest single, “A New Way Of Love”, is a midtempo number that bridges a 70s style steppers groove with retro-minded melodies and romantic lyrics. Female background vocals complement Hall’s finesse here, making for a jam perfect for relaxing or dancing with that special someone. “A New Way Of Love” is available digitally and on limited 7″ vinyl, backed with “A Beautiful Dream.” It can be purchased at the Six Nine Records website.
