Legendary Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia is ready to return to the stage. On Friday, the group announced that it will perform the first in door arena concert in the country since the pandemic on Dec. 11 at the Rump Arena in Lexington, KY. Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J stressed safety precautions in an Instagram video. Tickets for the concert are available via Ticketmaster in pods of 4 people or less to ensure social distancing. The show was approved by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. Rapper Project Pat is scheduled to open the concert. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began earlier this year, thousands of tours and festivals have been postponed or canceled in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. For the upcoming Three 6 Mafia show, Rupp Arena’s 21,017 capacity will be limited to 15 percent, which amounts to 3,152 concert goers and event staff, according to ABC’s WTVQ. In addition to required face coverings, fans in attendance will be subject to temperature checks upon entry.
