Oran Juice Jones is a retired American R&B singer. Jones was the first artist signed to OBR Records, a subsidiary of Def Jam Records. His debut single “The Rain” was released in 1986, and peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. It ranks him on VH1’s top 100 One Hit Wonders of the 80s. He followed it with “How To Love Again”, a duet with Alyson Williams. Jones earned two Grammy Award nominations for “The Rain” and released two albums, but failed to have significant follow-up success. Jones collaborated twice with porn star turned singer Midori. In 1997, they recorded the duet “Let’s Stay Together” for his album “Player’s Call.” Jones also appeared on Midori’s single “5, 10, 15, 20”, which appeared on the “Porn To Rock” compilation release in 1999. He released the albums “Juice” (1986), “GTO: Gangsters Taking Over” (1987), “To Be Immortal” (1989) and “Player’s Call” (1997).
