Vivian Green is an American R&B singer/songwriter from Philadelphia, PA. In 2002, Green released her debut album, “A Love Story”, which featured the No. 1 single “Emotional Rollercoaster.” Additionally, Green made a cameo appearance in the Cole Porter biopic De-Lovely performing a cover version of Porter’s 1930 hit “Love For Sale”, which was included on the film’s soundtrack. She also played Brenda Holloway in an episode of the NBC drama American Dreams, performing Holloway’s 1964 hit “Every Little Bit Hurts.” In 2005, Green sang background vocals on the Cynder Lauper tracks “I’ll Be Your River” and “Sisters Of Avalon.” That same year, Green released her sophomore album, “Vivian.” It featured the single “Gotta Go Gotta Leave (Tired)”, which peaked at No. 24 on the R&B chart and No. 1 on the dance chart. The song also reached No. 1 on the Hot Adult Airplay chart. The follow up single, “I Like It (But I Don’t Need It)”, reached No. 1 on the dance chart. Green’s third album, “Beautiful”, was released on April 6, 2010. Green has also released the albums “The Green Room” (2012), “Vivid” (2015), “VGVI” (2017) and “Love Absolute” (2020). The single “We Are Everywhere” is taken from “Love Absolute.”
