Robert Rihmeek Williams, known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper/songwriter/activist from Philadelphia, PA. He began his career as a battle rapper, and later formed the short lived rap group The Bloodhoundz. In 2008, rapper T.I. signed Williams to his first record deal. In February 2011, after leaving Grand Hustle Records, Williams signed with Miami rapper Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. He debut album, “Dreams And Nightmares”, was released in 2012 via Maybach Music Group and Warner Bros. Records. The album, preceded by the single “Amen”, debuted at No. 57 on the Billboard 200 chart. In October 2012, Williams launched his own label, Dream Chasers Records, named after his mixtape series. Williams collaborates with his Maybach Music label mates and is known for his special guest appearances on Maybach Music Group’s compilation series “Self Made”, with his first two singles, “Tupac Back” and “Ima Boss”, being included on volume one. In 2015, he released his second album, “Dreams Worth More Than Money.” His third album, “Wins & Losses”, was released in 2016. Williams’ fourth studio album, “Championships”, was released in November 2018 and debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s lead single, “Going Bad” featuring Drake, peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Williams’ highest charting single to date. The single “Middle Of It” is a collaboration with Vory.
