Jordan Michael Houston, known professionally as Juciy J, is an American rapper/songwriter/producer/record executive from Memphis, TN. He is a founding member of the southern hip hop group Three 6 Mafia, with whom he won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for their single “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp.” Some of his most memorable singles as a solo artist are his features on the Mike Will Made It single “23”, and the Usher single “I Don’t Mind” as well as his own single “Bandz A Make Her Dance.” Houston received a Grammy Award nomination for his feature on the Katy Perry single “Dark Horse”, which peaked at No. 1 in the United States. In 2002, he released his debut solo album “Chronicles Of The Juice Man” in between Three 6 Mafia projects. In 2011, Houston announced that he was part owner and A&R rep for Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang Records, and the following year, he signed a solo deal with Columbia Records and Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records. Houston released his third studio album, “Stay Trippy”, under the aforementioned labels on August 27, 2013. He is the younger brother of fellow rapper and frequent collaborator Project Pat. He has released the albums “Chronicles Of The Juice Man” (2002), “Hustle Til I Die” (2009), “Stay Trippy” (2013), “Rubba Band Business” (2017) and “The Hustle Continues” (2020). “Load It Up”, a collaboration with rapper NLE Choppa, is taken from “The Hustle Continues.”
