Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson, known professionally as YG, is an American rapper/actor from Compton, CA. In 2010, he released his debut single, “Toot It And Boot It”, featuring Ty Dolla $ign, which peaked at No. 67 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song’s success led to Jackson signing a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings. Jackson went on to release the mixtapes “The Real 4Fingaz”, “Just Re’d Up”, “Just Re’d Up 2” and “4 Hunnid Degrees.” In June 2013, Jackson signed a deal with rapper Young Jeezy’s label CTE World. His 2013 collaboration with Young Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan, “My Nigga”, peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.
