Black Ivory is an American R&B vocal group from Harlem, New York that had a string of hits in the 1970s, including “Don’t Turn Around”, “You And I”, “I’ll Find A Way (The Loneliest Man In Town)”, “Spinning Around”, “What Goes Around (Comes Around)”, “Will We Ever Come Together” and “Mainline.” Formed in 1969, the trio is comprised of Leroy Burgess, Stuart Bascombe and Russell Patterson. They released the albums “Don’t Turn Around” (1972), “Baby, Won’t You Change Your Mind” (1972), “Feel It” (1975), “Black Ivory” (1976), “Hanging Heavy” (1979), “Then And Now” (1984) and “Continuum” (2011).
