It looks like Max B’s got another one. This time he’s gone overseas to get assistance from London native, Giggs. The Harlem and U.K. rappers team up on the gritty track “Bad To Tha Bone.” The single comes after the release of the mixtape “Charly.” Throughout the track, Max speaks of his rise from 4-time felon to putting his time in his music. While he encountered some doubters, he stuck to his guns by any means necessary. During his prison stint he claims to have made 7 figures and purchased his mother a home. The hook is an interpolation of George Thorogood & The Destroyer’s “Bad To The Bone.” Meanwhile, Giggs raps about being aware of his surroundings after growing up in his hood. Max B also gives Bobby Shmurda a shout out as well. Both he and the Silver Surfer are scheduled to be released sometime this year. The energy generated by the release of both rappers will certainly be a huge welcome home extravaganza in the Big Apple. Listen to “Bad To Tha Bone” below.
