Could Migos’ long-awaited “Culture 3” album see the light of day? On Saturday, after more than three years of teasing the third installment of the trio’s Culture series, Offset once again stirred up excitement about the highly anticipated project by sharing a snippet from what appears to be a music video for a song from the forthcoming album. The clip shows Offset spitting a verse while surrounded by his fellow Migos, a large entourage and several luxury cars. The teaser prompted overjoyed reactions in the comments from numerous hip hop artists, including Snoop Dogg, Chance The Rapper and Rich The Kid. The rapper seemed to allude to “Culture 3” in another Instagram post on Sunday. Offset’s posts arrived amid his highly publicized breakup with rapper Saweetie. After releasing “Culture” and “Culture 2” in 2017 and 2018, respectively, the members of Migos went on hiatus to pursue solo careers. In 2018, Quavo released his debut album, “Quavo Huncho”, while Takeoff followed with “The Last Rocket.” Offset released his debut album, “Father Of 4”, the following year. In March 2020, Quavo told Billboard magazine that Migos was practicing social distancing by simplifying their movements, only going to the studio to work on “Culture 3” and then back home. A year earlier, during an interview before the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Offset told Billboard that “Culture 3” was on the way. An official release date for “Culture 3” has not been announced at press time.
