Fans have been asking for a Brockhampton and Lil Nas X collaboration for several years, and their wish has finally come true. Yesterday, Brockhampton released their music video for “Count On Me”, the latest single from their album “Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine”, with special guest Lil Nas X joining member Dominic Fike for a car ride into the wilderness that gets weird quickly. At the outset of the clip, the two artists are seen driving on a country road, laughing and joking with one another. Nas ask Fike what music he’s been into lately, with Fike replying that he’s been “into really old bands” like Radiohead. Nas then jokingly ask who Radiohead is. The video quickly transitions into the new single, as Nas and Fike pull into a forest and go out for a stroll. Moments later, the clip takes a trippy turn, with the pair’s bodies shifting into amorphous, 3D-animated versions of themselves, surrounded by bright colors and rapidly-moving images. The two acknowledge the bad trip they’re having, before having an intense make-out session by the lake. The new video is the latest from Brockhampton’s new album “Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine”, which frontman Kevin Abstract said in a tweet would be the band’s second-to-last album .
