Rodarius Marcell Green, known professionally as Rod Wave, is an American singer/songwriter/producer. He is known for his strong voice and his incorporation of R&B and hip hop, and has been recognized as a trailblazer of soul-trap. Green rose to fame with the 2019 single “Heart On Ice”, which went viral on You Tube and Tik Tok and peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Greens’ debut album, “Ghetto Gospel” (2019), peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. His second album, “Pray 4 Love” (2020), peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and included the single “Rags2Riches”, which peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. His third album, “Soulfly” (2021), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking his first chart topping album. The album includes the singles “Richer”, “Street Runner” and “Tombstone”, the latter of which is his highest charting single peaking at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
