Che Noir is one of Hip Hop’s most promising rappers and producers. She has jumped on to the scene as seamlessly as a double dutch veteran, having been born and raised in Buffalo, which is currently producing the rawest Hip Hop in recent memory. In 2016, Che Noir released her debut mixtape, which drew the attention of Benny The Butcher, who collaborated with her on the single “Tyson” in 2017. Shortly thereafter, she began working with 38 Spesh, who featured her on several Trust Gang projects leading up to her breakthrough album “As God Intended”, which featured special guest appearances by Black Thought and Skyzoo and was entirely produced by Apollo Brown. The album was released in 2020. Che Noir’s “Food For Thought” displays her vast range, styles, and approaches, from nostalgic reminiscences to crime driven storylines, with strong, uncompromisingly straight lyrics, over production inspired by the culture’s golden age vibe.
