Jules Truly is a rising singer/songwriter who got her start performing with the Highbridge Voices Community Choir through a role as Nala in the broadway musical The Lion King, and ultimately placing as a finalist at the Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night in 2014. Jules now fronts the band Jules and The Jinks, sporting a sound that blends jazz, funk, R&B and more. And as she prepares to release her self titled album, she delivers a single that goes in another direction, harkening back to the dance music of a prior generation.
