He is known for his strong voice and incorporation of hip hop and R&B and has been recognized as a trailblazer of soul-trap. Green rose to prominence following the release of the single “Heart On Ice.”, which went viral on You Tube and Tik Tok and peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Green’s debut album, “Ghetto Gospel” (2019), peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. His second album, “Play For Love” (2020), peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, and included the single “Rags2Riches”, which peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. His third album, “Soulfly” (2021), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking his first chart topping album.
