Canadian singer Tanika Charles has released two albums with a third, “Papillon de Nuit: The Night Butterfly”, scheduled for release next month. Charles has given a preview of “Frustrated”, a track taken from the album. “Frustrated”, a song that features a kind of interplay between Charles and her background vocals that recalls some of the best R&B of the 1970s, tells the story of two people who can’t connect because they aren’t in the same place physically or emotionally. The frustration that the situation brings stems from the fact that although the person is absent in body he is very much present in mind. Listen to “Frustrated” below.
