William Bell is an American singer/songwriter. As a performer, he is best known for his 1961 single “You Don’t Miss Your Water” as well as the 1968 hit “Private Number”, which was a duet with singer Judy Clay. His only Top 40 hit was 1976’s “Trying To Love Two”, which peaked at No. 1 on the R&B chart.
