For her latest single, Dessy Di Lauro has created a sparsely arranged song — just her multilayered voice and an acoustic guitar, to proclaim the importance of self love in a world in which that is often an anathema.

Dessy tells us, “‘All Love Begins with You’ is a universal message of self love and acceptance. Whomever and whatever you stand for, stand in your truth and your power to your fullest capacity. Step into your greatness. It’s about being positive about yourself. Live in your purpose and Truth and be proud.”

Along with the song, Dessy has created a challenge to her listeners, asking them to express what the song means to them, and then tag her on TikTok or Instagram (@dessydilauro).
