Love Unlimited was a female R&B trio that provided background vocals for singer/songwriter Barry While on his albums and tours. They also found success with their own recordings. Formed in 1969, the group’s original lineup consisted of Glodean James, Linda James and Diane Taylor. Their single “Walking In the Rain with the One I Love” peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard chart in 1972. Their other hits include “I Belong to You” and “I Can’t Let Him Down.”
