Rapper Drake posted a teaser for “Certified Lover Boy”, which will be released next year. In a clip shared on social media Saturday, Drake gave fans a preview of what’s to come from his forthcoming album. The dramatic short clip, set to an instrumental soundtrack, shows a young boy gazing up at the sky in wonder and an adult Drake staring pensively. The “Certified Lover Boy” teaser, uploaded on Drake’s own account and by OVO Sound, ends with a general release date January 2021 shown on the screen. The album, which will be Drake’s sixth studio effort and follow-up to his 2018 album “Scorpion”, was announced over the summer, and on Aug. 14, he revealed its title with the release of “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk.
On Friday, rapper Dave East released the deluxe edition of his 25-track mixtape “Karma 3” via rapper Nas’ Mass Appeal Records and Def Jam Recordings. The deluxe edition features eight new tracks, building off the initial momentum of the latest incarnation of East’s Karma mixtape series, which was released in August. While the original version contained special guest appearances by Mary J. Blige, Benny The Butcher of Griselda Records, Young Dolph, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Trey Songz and production from Mike Keys, araabMUZIK and DJ Paul, the deluxe addition contains special guest appearances by Chris Brown, Jeezy, G Herbo, Junior Reid, Def Loaf and Meluchis.
